1. INSPECT THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON without operating the accelerator pedal.

    NOTICE:
    If the accelerator pedal is operated, perform the above steps again.

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3 and clear the DTCs (Click here).

  1. Start the engine and check that the MIL is not illuminated and that the idle speed is within the specified range when the A/C is switched off after the engine is warmed up.

    Standard (for CVT):
    Condition
    		Engine Idle Speed
    A/C switched off
    		600 to 700 rpm

    Standard (for Manual Transaxle):
    Condition
    		Engine Idle Speed
    A/C switched off
    		550 to 650 rpm

    HINT:
    1. Be sure to perform this step with all accessories off.
    2. Make sure that the shift lever is in neutral.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Throttle Pos. Sensor Output. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and check that the value is 60% or more.

  1. Perform a road test and confirm that there are no abnormalities.
